Good questions. Clear answers.
Understand the network, read a transaction, and know what the data can tell you.
Getting started
Pearl Pulse is an independent interface for exploring the Pearl blockchain. Search for a block, transaction, or Pearl address, then follow its public chain history. Pearl Pulse is not the official Pearl wallet and never needs your seed or private key.
Pearl is a UTXO-based network whose Proof of Useful Work construction uses matrix multiplication. PRL is its native unit, and one PRL contains 100,000,000 grains. The protocol targets roughly 194 seconds per block.
A decimal block height, a 64-character block hash or transaction ID, or a checksummed Pearl address. You can also search for a listed mining-pool name. Never paste a recovery phrase or private key.
Transactions
A mempool is the set of unconfirmed transactions observed by a node. Nodes can observe different sets, so there is no single global mempool. This explorer identifies the public data source used for the displayed view.
A transaction may pay a fee miners are not selecting, depend on another unconfirmed transaction, conflict with a spend, or not have reached the source node. Check the transaction status, inputs, and fee. A block-time target is not a confirmation guarantee.
The fee is the sum of input values minus the sum of output values. A fee rate divides that fee, in grains, by the transaction’s virtual size. Pearl Pulse labels observed fees as observations; it does not turn a small sample into a promised confirmation estimate.
No. A confirmation means the transaction is included in the currently observed canonical chain. Reorganizations can change inclusion. Additional confirmations generally increase confidence, but the appropriate threshold depends on the transaction and your risk policy.
An address balance is not a complete wallet balance. A wallet can use many addresses, and some outputs may be immature, pending, or otherwise unavailable. Pearl coinbase outputs mature after 100 blocks. The address page shows pending balance changes and all unspent outputs. Maturity is checked for each displayed UTXO; wallet scripts can impose other spending conditions.
Mining & proofs
Pearl’s planned emission decreases smoothly on each block instead of using Bitcoin-style halving events. The emission graph on this site is a mathematical schedule. It is distinct from actual claimed issuance, which depends on chain data.
It measures the share of blocks credited to mining payout addresses in the selected period. Pool names are labels supplied by PRLScan. Unknown addresses remain unknown, and one operator can control multiple addresses. This is not a census of physical GPUs or legal entities.
Not as a percentage of equivalent computing power. The networks use different proof-of-work computations. This site identifies the upstream’s work-rate estimate and its measurement window; it does not convert that estimate into Bitcoin-equivalent security or useful AI throughput.
No. A valid protocol proof can establish that work satisfies consensus rules. Whether its result served an AI customer requires separate, attributable evidence. The Proof Lens checks original certificate bytes, header and transaction commitments. Those byte checks do not run the Plonky2 proof system or establish the commercial purpose of the work.
Data & privacy
Pearl Blockbook supplies Mainnet and Testnet2 blocks, transactions, addresses, raw certificates and fee estimates. PRLScan supplies Mainnet mining attribution, rankings and historical analytics. The source and observation times are visible throughout. In the static edition, source requests pass through fixed Netlify proxy routes. If the feed cannot be reached, a dated real-data snapshot can remain visible with a snapshot label. This edition is not backed by independently operated Pearl Pulse nodes.
Testnet2 is connected through its own Pearl Blockbook endpoint and pinned genesis. It supports blocks, transactions, addresses, UTXOs, proof inspection and transaction tools. Its mining and chart samples are labeled separately from Mainnet history. Bitcoin Lightning, Liquid, and mempool.space’s paid acceleration services do not have verified Pearl equivalents here. They are not presented as working Pearl services.
The local decoder can inspect a signed transaction without submitting it. Broadcasting is available through the selected network’s public node after explicit review. Preflight checks previous outputs, maturity and fees; complete node-policy and signature testing requires an operator-configured validating node. Decoding never proves consensus validity or guarantees miner acceptance.
There are no advertising pixels or analytics added by Pearl Pulse. Searching for an address or transaction sends that identifier through the hosted application to the selected Pearl Blockbook source or PRLScan. Theme and shape preferences are stored only in your browser. Access is handled by your hosting provider.
